FLT / FLR and Wireless Protection — fault and load current transmitters
LINAM FLT/FLR and the SEL Wireless Protection system are installed on overhead line conductors up to 69 kV and transmit load and fault current data by radio. The current range is 3–600 A, the trip threshold 25–1600 A, and withstand 25 kA for 10 cycles.

Description
LINAM FLT/FLR indicate faults and monitor line load. The SEL-FT50/RP50/FR12 system sends the short-circuit signal to a protection terminal over a 900 MHz radio channel, to speed up tripping and block autoreclosing. Sensor housings have IP66 / IP67 protection. The sensors are mounted directly on the conductor, so separate line current transformers are not needed.
