Description

The series are used from compact ring main units to complex switchgear installations. W12 has a rated current of up to 630 A and panel widths of 600, 750 and 900 mm (types W12-607519, -757521, -907521). W24 is rated for 24 kV, and for the W24-901121 version the brochure specifies a rated current of up to 1250 A.

For the W24-901121 version, the brochure gives a lightning impulse withstand voltage of 125 kV, a one-minute withstand voltage of 50 kV, a frequency of 50 Hz, a short-circuit duration of 1 s, degree of protection IP3X and internal arc withstand of 16, 20, 25 and 31.5 kA for 1 s. Panel widths are 800, 900 and 1000 mm, depth 1100 mm, height 2100 mm. The weight of the panels ranges from 350 kg (cable, transformer, bus-sectionalizer) to 650 kg (circuit breaker panel).

W24 panels use H27 load-break switches (630 A, up to 20 kA / 50 kA) and H22 (630 and 1250 A, up to 31.5 kA / 80 kA), as well as the V24 vacuum circuit breaker up to 1600 A, 31.5 kA / 80 kA, with an integrated busbar disconnector. In addition, combinations with HV fuses, current and voltage transformers, earthing switches or fixed ball earthing points, and surge arresters are installed. The panel types are as follows. WK cable, WT transformer, WM metering, WÜ bus-sectionalizer, WÜM bus-sectionalizer with metering, WL with circuit breaker, WÜL bus-sectionalizer with circuit breaker. The panels cover the path from the cable entry and transformer connection to metering, sectionalizing and circuit breaker switching. The series is complemented by the compact W12/24 metering panel for 12 and 24 kV, 630 A.

The frame is bolted and galvanized, the doors are single-leaf steel doors with an inspection window. Pressure relief is directed upward or downward, upward with 250 mm screens. Cables are connected from below, the lock is central, and operation can be manual or motorized with the doors closed. Installation is in closed electrical rooms up to 1000 m above sea level. The switchgear is used in distribution and transfer substations, at industrial enterprises and in urban infrastructure facilities.
