Total Skid is a metal platform for solar power plants supplied fully integrated for 24 or 36 kV. It carries everything needed to convert direct current to alternating current and step the voltage up from low to medium, with an output rating up to 10 MVA. On site it only needs to be placed and connected.

Description
Total Skid is supplied as a ready turnkey platform for photovoltaic plants. It simplifies design and reduces installation costs. The composition is as follows: an outdoor ventilated transformer rated up to 7.5 MVA, the manufacturer's outdoor medium voltage switchgear (the configuration depends on the rating), an outdoor low voltage board with fuse or circuit breaker protection for string inverters or central inverter cabinets, an auxiliary services board, a connection board, safety elements and an oil containment tray with a filter. LV boards for grouping string inverters operate at 400–800 V AC. Cables from the inverters arrive at fuse bases or circuit breakers, and all components are type tested and certified for operation up to 800 V AC. The auxiliary services board protects single-phase and three-phase auxiliary circuits against overload, indirect contact and overvoltage, and contains 2P and 4P residual current devices of 30 and 300 mA.
The configuration is flexible. One or two photovoltaic inverters, a step-up transformer, MV units and an auxiliary services board can be supplied. Typical schemes include 630 A units with interface C, protection relays, network analysers, 48 V DC batteries, outputs to control centres and BESS integration.
The 24 kV series transformers for the platform are rated 250–3000 kVA, with a secondary voltage of 420 V, regulation of ±2.5 ±5 %, vector group Dyn11 and mineral oil. No-load losses are 306–1291 W, load losses 2523–13 291 W, short-circuit voltage 4–6 % depending on the rating in the range.
No building or shelter is needed. All elements are designed for outdoor installation and withstand changes in the environment and extreme temperatures from −20 to +45 °C. Models SKD-6 and SKD-12 are shipped in 40' HC Open Top containers, which is convenient for international projects. The platform is used at industrial-scale photovoltaic plants, hybrid plants with storage, in Spain and in export markets where shorter construction times and factory readiness matter. Delivery assembled and tested reduces the amount of construction and installation work to placing the platform and connecting the cables.
