D12 / D24 and F24 — air-insulated switchgear 12–24 kV, 630 A
The D12/D24 and F24 series are air-insulated medium-voltage switchgear with a rated current of 630 A that have passed type tests to EN 62271-200. The D series is made for 12 and 24 kV, the F24 series for 24 kV. They are installed in distribution points and transformer substations.

Description
Both series are designed for distribution points and transformer substations where simple equipment with load-break switches and load-break switch–fuse combinations is required. The rated current is 630 A.
D12 / D24 is switchgear for 12 and 24 kV, 630 A, with panel widths of 500, 600 and 900 mm, for example type D24-601119. For compact solutions, the D24-121121 sector block for 24 kV and 630 A is produced. It is a monoblock of several functional panels for substations with limited space. A common operating manual exists for D12 and D24.
F24 is switchgear for 24 kV, 630 A, with panel widths of 600, 750 and 900 mm (types F24-606519 and F24-756519). Optionally it is produced with integrated revenue metering. Different panel widths make it possible to arrange a distribution point to fit the available room area, and the sector block saves space where there are few connections. All panels of these series have a metal enclosure and air insulation.
The equipment of both series corresponds to the manufacturer's general range. It includes H27 and H22 load-break switches (630 A), combinations with HV fuses to EN 62271-105 for transformer protection, earthing switches, current and voltage transformers, voltage indicators, and manual or motor drives (brochures 773/774). Fuse links with a striker of at least 80 N provide all-pole disconnection, so the transformer is not left running on two phases. The load-break switch is used for switching cable lines and breaking circuits, and the fuse combination for connecting a transformer.
The enclosure is metal, air-insulated and SF6-free, which simplifies disposal and maintenance. Installation is in closed electrical rooms. Withdrawable circuit breakers are not provided in these series, so they are chosen for distribution points where load-break switches are sufficient. The series are used in distribution networks of utilities and municipal companies, at industrial and commercial facilities, and at consumer and generation incomers where a current of 630 A is sufficient. For higher currents and withdrawable circuit breakers, the manufacturer offers the W24, WEL/E3K and PRO-AIR H series.
