Description
The monoblock is designed for substations with no service aisle. It is installed and transported as a single block, not as separate panels. It is used in distribution transformer substations of utilities, industrial and commercial consumers and charging infrastructure. Installation is intended in closed electrical rooms at altitudes of up to 1000 m above sea level, and above that the insulation level must be corrected.
Frequency 50 Hz. Short-time withstand current up to 20 kA for 1 s, peak withstand current up to 50 kA (12 kV class). Lightning impulse 75 / 125 kV and short-duration withstand voltage 28 / 50 kV for the 12 / 24 kV classes respectively. The transformer connection is made as a load-break switch–fuse combination for 125 A with HV fuses. Internal arc withstand was tested by an independent institute at 16, 20 and 25 kA for 1 s, with pressure relieved downward. Degree of protection IP3X. Compliance with EN 62271-200, EN 62271-1 and VDE 0682-552.
The range includes the versions D 12-127014 (about 390 kg), D 12-147014 (480 kg), D 24-121114 (630 kg), D 24-171114 (590 kg) and D 24-211114 (960 kg). The D 12 versions belong to the 12 kV class and D 24 to the 24 kV class. The height above the floor is 1600 mm. Cable panels are equipped with H 27 EK load-break switches, and transformer panels with H 27 SEA or H 27 SuT combinations. Earthing switches, current and voltage transformers, surge arresters and sockets for capacitive voltage indication are available as options.
The structure is metal, the frame is hot-dip galvanized, and the front doors have inspection windows. Interlocks and insulating protective barriers are provided for the duration of work. The interlocks rule out erroneous operations, and the barriers separate live parts from the work area. The weight of the versions, 390–960 kg, is taken into account for transportation and foundation selection. In the typical substation from the brochure, the switchgear supplies a transformer of up to 2500 kVA, and the LV distribution is built on system 403 with an incomer of up to 1250 A and up to ten feeders of 400 or 630 A.
