Description
The pump takes cryogenic liquid from the tank and raises its pressure to filling pressure, after which the liquid is gasified in a high-pressure vaporizer and goes to the ramps. The more powerful MRP, LDPD and HPP pumps are listed in the catalog as a separate item.
The PPC pump is horizontal, with grease lubrication of the crank drive, without cold-end insulation, for liquid CO₂ and N₂O. The PPC 35/26 is rated for 120 bar and the PPC 45/26 for 100 bar, with capacity up to ≈18 l/min. It has a stainless steel piston and a conical seal designed for elevated suction pressure, and a gas control unit is available on request. It is used for filling cylinders with liquid carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide, in a basic or extended version with a bypass on the frame.
The SDPD pump is horizontal, with a vacuum-insulated cold end, for LOX, LIN, LAr, LCO₂, LN₂O and LNG. The SDPD 22/20 is rated for 420 bar, the SDPD 30/20 and 30/32 for 280 bar, with capacity of 0.7–10 l/min; typical use is cylinders of 150 and 200 bar. The cold end is inclined at 10° for degassing, the suction chamber separates vapor from liquid, hat-type seals remain elastic at low temperatures, and the piston is bronze. Vacuum insulation keeps the pump cold, so it restarts without venting.
The SRP pump is horizontal, with an oil crank drive, vacuum insulation and long-life seals, pressure up to 380 bar. It fills cylinders of 200 and 300 bar, including with medical oxygen, in intermittent and continuous duty. The PD 3000 (CVI) is vertical, grease-lubricated, for LO₂, LN₂, LAr, LCO₂, LN₂O, LNG and LH₂. Design pressure is 6000 psi, 9000 psi on request, with models for 303 and 413 bar and capacity up to 15.6 l/min; twin and triple units are available. The PD 3000 does not carry the CE mark and, according to the manufacturer, is not intended for the European market.
SDPD options: PT100 sensors for cool-down, cavitation and leak protection, seal heating for cold standby of more than 3 h, and suction from a thermosiphon vessel. All pumps are designed to IGC 11/82 recommendations and are tested mechanically and cryogenically.
