Description
The manufacturer has developed its wind turbine generator business for more than 30 years. According to the company, it designs and builds generators for wind turbines of all types and sizes and was among the first industrial manufacturers of 3 MW generators.
The range covers induction and synchronous generators rated up to 10 000 kVA and voltages from 400 to 15 000 V, for fixed or variable speed operation, in four-, six- and eight-pole designs. Cooling is air/air or air/water. The company's own water cooling system is especially suitable for wind turbines, because liquid cooling is concentrated on the active parts of the generator, which gives temperature control and thereby extends the service life of the machine.
