Generators for gas turbine plants 50–830 MW
Generators for gas turbine plants rated from 50 to 830 MW, from distributed gas turbine units to heavy-duty gas turbines of classes E, F and H (J). The design is agreed against the layout requirements of the GT or CCGT plant. They are supplied separately and for complete plants.

Description
The generators are designed to work with gas turbines of all classes, from small distributed-generation GT units to heavy-duty power turbines of classes E, F and H (J). The manufacturer ranks class H (J) among the most advanced in the world. The power range of gas turbine generators is 50–830 MW. The generators are built to different layout requirements of GT and CCGT plants, so the position of the machine relative to the turbine is set by the plant design.
Deliveries include a 500 MW generator for the Shaoxing gas power plant, the largest gas turbine generator of domestic manufacture in China by unit rating. For the Putian CCGT plant 400 MW generators were built, and for the Shenzhen East thermal power plant 300 MW generators. A 150 MW steam turbine generator was supplied for the CCGT plant in Zhuhai. These examples cover ratings of 150, 300, 400 and 500 MW, that is, the middle part of the stated 50 to 830 MW range.
A gas turbine plant generator is driven by the gas turbine, so its parameters are matched to the turbine class and to the GT or CCGT scheme. In a combined-cycle block the steam turbine has its own generator, as in the 150 MW example. For turbines of classes E, F and H (J) the frame size is chosen by rating and turbine class, and the remaining parameters are fixed in the project. Selection requires the gas turbine class, the GT or CCGT scheme and the required power. The high-power machines of the range correspond to heavy-duty turbines of classes F and H (J), and the smaller ones to distributed GT units. Small distributed GT units are also part of the range, so one manufacturer can cover both a small station and a high-power block.
Rated data on voltage, cooling and rotational speed of individual frame sizes are not given in the sources, so they are clarified for each project. Manufacturing takes place in Deyang (Sichuan, China). The same site builds turbogenerators for coal-fired, nuclear and small thermal stations, so the experience with large machines is shared. The company supplies generators both separately and for the complete gas turbine and combined-cycle plants they belong to.
