Description

The manufacturer builds three-phase induction and synchronous generators rated up to 10 MVA for various industrial applications: power stations (biomass, coal, hydro and wind power), test fields, onboard systems of rail transport and ships, and also motor-generator sets. The generators are designed for a specific installation in horizontal or vertical design. The manufacturer's engineers support the project from planning to acceptance and, if necessary, carry out commissioning on site.

Squirrel-cage induction generators cover outputs of 110–10,000 kVA at voltages from 180 V to 13.8 kV, 2–16 poles and a frequency of 50 or 60 Hz. They operate in parallel with the grid (excitation from the grid) or, in stand-alone mode, with a capacitor bank connected in parallel. For small and medium-sized wind and hydropower plants this is an economical option. Synchronous generators with a salient-pole or non-salient-pole rotor cover outputs of 1000–10,000 kVA at voltages of 2–13.8 kV, 4–24 poles and a frequency of 50–100 Hz.

For all generators insulation class F (optionally H) is used with temperature rise to class B (optionally F), and all common mounting arrangements, degrees of protection and cooling systems are available. The manufacturer points to high efficiency, low noise, speed independent of load and a stabilising effect on the grid. A synchronous generator of 11,380 kVA, 11 kV, 4 poles, 1500 rpm, IP54, with IC81W cooling and a mass of 35.3 t was built for a biomass power plant in Scotland, with redesign of the flanged shaft and conversion from open cooling to air-to-water cooling.

Two eight-pole synchronous generators MEBQSL900-08-196 of 4375 kVA each, 6.6 kV, 750 rpm, IP55, IC611, with a mass of 27.5 t, were built for a diesel power station of an oil field in Sudan and were load tested in Berlin. The synchronous generator MEBQQD1000-08 of 8000 kVA, 6 kV, 50–100 Hz works in a set for testing power transformers with a voltage harmonic factor of less than 0.5%. The generators are suitable for small hydropower plants, CHP plants, biomass and diesel power stations. For replacing machines of the СГ, ГСФ and СГДМ series, the parameters are selected by purpose and main data, and finally with the manager.
