Description
The busbar has capacitive field control and an earthed screen. It carries high currents in a confined space instead of parallel cables and metal-enclosed busducts. Connection is made with insulated couplings and flexible flat terminals. Every busbar undergoes acceptance tests at the factory. The busbar is used, for example, at steelworks to supply arc furnaces and SVC.
