SOIT liquid-filled step-up transformer for PV plants
SOIT is a three-phase liquid-filled step-up transformer for connecting PV plant inverters to the MV network. An earthed electrostatic screen between the LV and HV windings reduces the mutual influence of the inverter and the network.

Description
The screen reduces the transfer of high-frequency noise from the inverter into the network, as well as of overvoltages from the HV side to the inverter. It is made of aluminium or copper and is earthed. The tank is filled with oil, synthetic or natural esters. The transformer losses meet EU Ecodesign requirements.
