Description
Dry reactors are an alternative to oil-filled ones, with no tank and no insulating fluid. The main limitation is that space is needed around the reactor to meet magnetic field limits. Winding insulation is cast resin or air. Current-limiting, shunt, arc suppression and neutral reactors are made.
