Description
The reactor is built without a magnetic core (air-core) and has dry air insulation. It is an outdoor design, installed in the open part of the substation. Tertiary winding connection suits hub substations, where HV line capacitance is compensated without a separate full-voltage reactor. Direct MV connection is used in high-capacitance cable networks.
