Description
The design is air-core with dry air insulation, so no oil handling facilities are needed at the substation. The reactor is available with fixed or controllable inductance. It is an outdoor design: the unit is installed in the open-air switchgear next to the line bay. The connection is direct, without an intermediate transformer.
