Description
The reactor is built to the air-core design with dry air insulation and no oil in the construction. It is an outdoor design for open-air switchgear. Besides limiting short-circuit currents, the reactor is used to control power flows between network sections and to sectionalize busbars. The AC operating voltage reaches 765 kV.
