ASR arc suppression reactors (Petersen coils), continuously adjustable, 6–110 kV
Continuously adjustable ASR arc suppression reactors (Petersen coils) for 6–110 kV networks with ratings of 125–19000 kVA. They compensate the capacitive earth fault current in MV and HV networks and are connected to the neutral of a power or earthing transformer.

Description
The reactor current is adjusted continuously in the range of 10–100 % In, at a network frequency of 50 Hz. The reactors are made for short-time (KB-2h) or continuous (DB) duty and comply with IEC 60076-6. The combined ASRC version joins the reactor and an earthing transformer in one tank, which is convenient for networks without an accessible neutral. The set includes a current indicator DU and a voltage indicator Uo.
