Description
KSTAR EPOWER-L is an industrial three-phase online UPS rated from 10 to 160 kVA with a built-in isolation transformer. Input and output are three-phase (3:3). The series is aimed at harsh operating conditions, primarily industrial use, where there is interference, vibration and an unstable mains.
The input power factor reaches 0.97, so the UPS loads the mains only slightly with a reactive component. The output power factor is 0.8. Control is fully digital, on a DSP, and the topology is online with double conversion. A clean sinusoidal voltage is formed at the output, which suits sensitive equipment and critical applications.
The isolation transformer is built into the case, so it does not have to be selected and installed separately at the site. It galvanically separates the load from the mains, which is useful when the power passes through long lines or is polluted by interference.
To improve availability, the UPS can be connected in parallel, up to 6 units. The battery configuration is flexible and is selected for the required backup time. The UPS performs a self-test, which makes scheduled maintenance easier and helps to detect a fault in time.
