Description
The rotating blade sits on the center insulator and closes onto two fixed contacts, so in the open position the circuit is broken in two places. In the STC the blade, after turning, rotates about its own axis and locks the contacts, giving high short-circuit withstand. The TCB is simpler in construction, and both models are for outdoor use.
