Description
A single hinged blade moves vertically to the contact of the upper bus. Unlike the full pantograph, the SSP has one blade instead of two half-blades. It sits under the busbars of the EHV switchyard, contact fixed to the upper busbars. The rated current of up to 6300 A holds across the whole range up to 800 kV.
