Description
PMD (formerly TFP) with a double scissor mechanism covers 245–550 kV and 2000–4000 A. PMS (formerly TFPA) with a single scissor mechanism is rated for 170–245 kV and 2000–4000 A. PSS (formerly TFPK) works in 72.5–170 kV networks at 1600–3150 A. The pantograph extends vertically to the overhead busbar conductor, so the disconnector takes no horizontal space between phases. The design is for outdoor use.
