FTr / FES — outdoor disconnectors, earthing switches and fuse holders 12–52 kV
FTr, FES and FT3-7156 are a program of outdoor apparatus for creating a visible break and earthing on overhead lines and in open-air switchgear. Disconnectors, earthing switches and HV fuse holders are rated for networks from 12 to 52 kV, rated currents 400, 630, 1600, 2500 and 4000 A. The program complies with EN 62271-102 and EN 60282-1.

Description
The outdoor apparatus program creates a visible break and earthing on overhead lines and in open-air switchgear. It includes FTr disconnectors, FES earthing switches and HV fuse holders. Disconnectors and earthing switches comply with EN 62271-102, and fuses with EN 60282-1. Rated voltages are 12, 24, 36 and 38.5 kV, and the product line goes up to 52 kV. Rated currents are 400, 630, 1600, 2500 and 4000 A.
The operating manuals are divided by current: B751.1e covers 400, 630 and 1600 A, and B751.2e covers 2500 and 4000 A. Three-pole outdoor fuse holders FT3-7156 are made for 24 and 36 kV for HV fuse links with a rated current up to 125 A. Versions with an earthing device (FT3-7156/2 and /5, about 49 and 80 kg) and without it (FT3-7156/11 and /12, about 33 and 63 kg) are available. For 36 kV with an earthing switch, a brace and a support bearing are provided.
Drives and accessories include the motor drive UM 90, single, double and triple manual drives, linkages and auxiliary switches. For remote control there is the universal motor drive UMPlus, as well as bird protection devices. On request, the manufacturer makes multi-pole devices to customer requirements. The device is selected by voltage class, rated current, drive type and the need for earthing or fuse protection.
For railway infrastructure, outdoor FTr disconnectors and FES earthing switches to EN 50152-2 for DC voltage up to 3 kV and AC voltage of 15 and 29 kV with rated currents from 630 to 6300 A are made on the basis of these devices (see the items for traction networks). The adjacent program includes the outdoor load-break switch FLa 15/97 38.5-6300-90 and outdoor earthing switches 12–52 kV.
The devices are used for sectionalizing overhead lines 10–35 kV and 52 kV, in open-air switchgear and substations, in pole-mounted transformer cubicles, and for protecting transformers and taps with fuses.
