Description
GZHV high-voltage miniature fuses are cylindrical low-current fuse-links for voltages from 1.2 to 10 kV. They are used to protect measuring equipment, test equipment in distribution networks, measuring transformers and auxiliary circuits with high voltage. They fill the gap between HH fuse-links for power circuits and ordinary GS miniature fuses.
The range includes several groups. The GZHV 10×85 mm version F (fast-acting) for 1–16 A, AC 1500 V / DC 1000 V, with a breaking capacity of 1.5 kA at AC 1.5 kV and 300 A at DC 1000 V (series 7011552). The version T (time-delay) for 0.63–12.5 A, AC 1500 V / DC 1000 V, 10 kA at DC 900–1000 V (series 7011527). The version F for 0.125–4 A and AC 3000 V (series 7011509).
For high-voltage AC circuits, fuse-links 8×50 mm (0.032–10 A, 1200 V), 8×85 mm (0.032–4 A, 3 kV), 8×120 mm (0.032–4 A, 6 kV) and 8×150 mm (0.032–2 A, 10 kV) are produced, with F characteristic and a breaking capacity of 35 A. For direct current, fuse-links 8×65 mm for 0.5–3.15 A, DC 1.5 kV, 30 kA are intended. For powerful measuring applications, 10×38 mm gR fuse-links, AC/DC 1000 V, 30 kA are also offered.
The design has robust ceramic and optimised fuse elements with low self-heating. For mounting, holders, URZ-C clips with screw fixing and 10×14 mm pressure plates are supplied. Fuse-links are selected by measurement categories CAT I–CAT IV under IEC 61010. The closer the measuring point is to the source, the higher the short-circuit current and the energy of transients.
They are used to protect measuring transformers and voltmeters in switchgear cubicles, in test and diagnostic installations for medium voltage networks, in high-voltage power supply units, traction equipment, and converters of photovoltaic and storage systems. VDE, UL, CSA and SEMKO certificates confirm international applicability.
