Description
The autotransformers are built to IEC and ANSI, and Eco and ATEX versions are available. In an autotransformer the HV and MV windings share a common part, so for the same throughput rating the machine is smaller than a conventional transformer with separate windings. They are installed at substations that interconnect networks of different voltage classes.
