Description
An on-board traction transformer is fed from the overhead contact line and is mounted directly on the locomotive or electric train. Traction substation autotransformers work on the stationary side and supply the railway contact line. Both groups are produced as separate items, and frequency, voltage and power are stated for the specific rolling stock or substation.
