Description
Regulating rectifier transformers feed diode and thyristor rectifiers, primarily at aluminum electrolysis plants. In a rectiformer the regulating and rectifying parts work as a pair, and the regulating unit may be built in or separate. Rectification schemes include double star (DSS) and double bridge (DB) with from 6 to 60 pulses.
