Description
A phase-shifting transformer changes the phase angle between the voltages at its terminals and so redistributes active power between parallel lines. The transformers are built to IEC and ANSI, with Eco and ATEX versions available. They are installed at transmission network nodes where overloaded lines must be relieved or interregional flows controlled.
