Description
For high ratings a two-core design is used, while the single-core version is made up to 230 kV. The principle is indirect, with shunt (regulating) and series units. Insulation can be, among other options, an ester liquid. Controlled power flow reduces loop flows and makes it possible to use the available network capacity more fully.
