Description
The transformer is designed for the heavy duty of furnace loads with current surges and overvoltages. It works with AC and DC EAFs, ladle furnaces and ore-reduction furnaces. Voltage is regulated directly by HV taps, through a booster transformer or through an autotransformer. The regulation scheme is chosen to suit the furnace rating and the required secondary voltage range.
