Description
The new line of distribution transformers completes a comprehensive range of medium voltage equipment. The transformers are immersed in mineral oil or vegetable ester, comply with the latest Ecodesign directives and are designed for maximum efficiency and minimum losses. A standard range is produced for the main voltages and ratings, for both consumers and generation. Special transformers are designed and built to the customer's requirements.
These are three-phase 50 Hz transformers (60 Hz on request) for indoor or outdoor installation, with a liquid dielectric and aluminium windings. Painting is RAL 5008 to UNE 48103. Compliance with UNE 21428 and UNE-EN 60076. The sources for the 24 kV series also mention a dual primary voltage.
The 24 kV series has ratings of 50, 100, 160, 250, 400, 630, 800, 1000, 1250, 1600, 2000, 2500 and 3150 kVA, a secondary voltage of 420 or 800 V, regulation of ±2.5 ±5 % by an off-circuit tap changer and vector group Dyn11. No-load losses are from 81 W (50 kVA) to 1980 W (3150 kVA), load losses from 750 W to 15 000 W across the range. Short-circuit voltage at 75 °C is 4 % up to 630 kVA and 6 % from 800 kVA, efficiency at full load 98.88–99.14 %. Weight is from 560 kg (50 kVA, 140 kg of oil) to 4454 kg (1600 kVA), LV bushings from M12 / 250 A to M48 / 3150 A.
The 36 kV series has the same range of ratings. No-load losses are 93–2277 W, load losses 825–25 300 W, short-circuit voltage 4.5 % up to 630 kVA and 6 % above, efficiency at full load 99.07–99.19 %. One of the sources for this series gives ratings from 50 to 3000 kVA, while the original description says 50 to 3150 kVA.
Standard supply includes a tap changer and an off-circuit voltage switch, lifting eyes, porcelain MV and LV bushings (with blades), earthing terminals, a drain valve, a rating plate, instructions, a filling device and fixings. Options are a two-contact thermometer, a protective relay, plug-in or screw-type MV bushings of types A, B, C, an oil containment tray for outdoor installation, a pressure relief valve and so on. Applications: transformer substations of distribution networks, industry, generation.
