Description
The transformer is mounted on a semi-trailer and delivered to the substation as a single transport module. Once connected to the busbars, it takes over the load of the damaged transformer for the duration of repair or replacement. Such units are also used during planned substation reconstruction, when the main transformer is taken out of service.
