ECOTAP VPD OLTC for regulated distribution transformers up to 40.5 kV
The compact resistor-type ECOTAP VPD OLTC is designed for voltage regulated distribution transformers (VRDT) with on-load regulation and Um up to 40.5 kV. It works in 10–35 kV networks where solar plants, wind farms and industrial consumers are connected to the transformer.

Description
The three-phase VPD III version is rated for Um 24, 36 or 40.5 kV and a through current of 30 A or 100 A. The single-phase VPD I and SPD are fitted to pole-mounted and pad-mount transformers, their voltage is up to 24–26 kV, and the SPD current is 15 A. The number of positions is 9 or 17. Regulation is autonomous and automatic, with a communication interface. No maintenance is required during the service life of the transformer.
