Description
The bank is mounted directly on the overhead line pole, so no separate site or building is needed. Compensating reactive power close to the consumer relieves the MV feeder of reactive current. The bank also supports the voltage level on remote sections of the feeder. Such units are installed on distribution lines with inductive load.
