Description
The installation capacity is built up in modules, with an upper limit of 50 Mvar. The compensator operates at any MV level, and it can be connected directly to the grid at voltages up to 36 kV. The power section is built on a 3-level IGBT topology, which gives fast regulation. The main functions are voltage stabilization, cos φ correction and flicker reduction.
