Description
The step voltage of the tap changer is up to 1300 V. With a preselector the OLTC gives up to 19 positions, which is sufficient for voltage regulation on transformers of this class. Switching takes place in vacuum interrupters. The VVS is selected when the transformer is of low power but on-load regulation is needed at 40–76 kV.
