The VACUTAP VI vacuum OLTC is designed for network transformers with Um 40–123 kV and a through current of up to 400 A in the three-phase version. It shares the oil compartment with the transformer and has a direct drive.

Description
Step voltage is up to 1500 V, step capacity up to 600 kVA. The number of positions is up to 14 without a preselector and up to 27 with a preselector. A separate OLTC tank is not required, so the tap changer is suitable for new compact transformers. VACUTAP VI is also fitted as a replacement for oil-type OLTCs during modernization.
