Bolt-on reactor-type VACUTAP RMV-II on-load tap changer with vacuum interrupters for Um 70 kV and through current up to 2500 A. Developed for the North American market, it is used for grid and furnace transformers, including retrofits.

Description
Step voltage is up to 1000 V. Step capacity is 3500 kVA for single-phase and 1625 kVA for three-phase design. The number of positions is up to 17 without a pre-selector and up to 33 with a pre-selector. The unit is bolted to the tank (bolt-on), so it is convenient to fit to transformers that are already in service.
