Series 8 oil-immersed distribution transformers have a rating of 50–1600 kVA and an HV voltage up to 24 kV. The new low-loss series meets Tier 2 of the European Ecodesign regulation.

Description
The insulation is transformer mineral oil. The loss level meets Ecodesign Tier 2 under EU Regulations 548/2014 and 2019/1783. The transformers are installed in MV distribution networks with voltage up to 24 kV. The Series 8 is also built with an eco-friendly fluid and in a dry-type version.
