The KGBEI / KGBEA is a combined cable current and voltage transformer of the 12–36 kV class, with the CT and VT assembled in one earthed metal housing. It is intended for distribution substations and substations where revenue metering must be arranged without a separate metering cubicle.

Description
The unit is installed on the cable connection and sits in the cable basement, so no space in the switchgear line-up is taken up by a metering cubicle. The windings are made in multi-winding and multi-core versions for revenue metering. As an option, the transformer is supplied with a frequency range up to 9 kHz. The declared service life is at least 30 years.
