Peritus OLTC Transformer (POT) is a distribution transformer with an on-load voltage regulation device. It is intended for networks with a high share of PV and wind plants, EV charging stations and storage systems, where the LV side voltage fluctuates noticeably.

Description
The OLTC switches taps in small steps, and control is automatic based on secondary voltage measurement, without switching the transformer off. Among the insulating fluid options are vegetable esters. For remote control the protocols IEC 60870-5-101/104, DNP3 and IEC 61850 are provided, so it integrates into the SCADA of the network company. According to the manufacturer, no maintenance is required. The dimensions are close to those of a standard distribution transformer.
