Description
The 12 kV range (DOTML) covers 50–3150 kVA with short-circuit voltage Uk 4–6 % and no-load losses of 81–1980 W. The core is stacked in a step-lap pattern from cold-rolled grain-oriented steel. The LV winding is foil, the HV winding is wound with enamelled wire. The tank is corrugated up to 10 MVA. In the base version the tank is filled with mineral oil, while esters (Midel) are supplied to order. Besides standard units, pole-mounted transformers, transformers for switch heating, earthing transformers and transformers for rectifier plants are built. Production is in Germany and Malaysia.
