Description
The transformer is assembled from a passive SDO-ICT sensor, a support insulator and an SDO-MU unit. The measurement is passive interferometric, based on the Faraday effect. The insulation is solid, with no oil or gas, so the insulating medium needs no maintenance. The SDO-MU unit forms a digital Sampled Values stream per IEC 61869-9 for the process bus.
