JGF — SF6 outdoor current transformer, 245–550 kV
JGF SF6 current transformer for 245–550 kV substations with a primary current of up to 5000 A. The cores are housed in a cast aluminium head, and the gas density is monitored. For temperatures down to −60 °C the unit is filled with a gas mixture.

Description
SF6 insulation, polymer external insulator. With pure SF6 the transformer operates down to −40 °C; for colder climates a gas mixture is used. Secondary current 1 or 5 A, up to 8 secondary windings. Accuracy classes 0.1–3, P, PR, PX, TPS, TPX, TPY and TPZ, from revenue metering to relay protection. Short-time thermal current up to 80 kA for 3 s, dynamic current up to 200 kA.
