Clean Air CT is an outdoor current transformer up to 420 kV with a primary current up to 6000 A. It contains dry purified air instead of SF6 or oil, so the device is not subject to the F-gas regulation.

Description
The insulating medium consists of 80 % N₂ and 20 % O₂, with a global warming potential GWP of 0. The primary winding is a bar type, and the housing is protected by a rupture disc. In terms of explosion safety, the device complies with IEC 61869-1, class II. The insulator is composite. Service life exceeds 30 years and no maintenance is required.
