The TSBI is a concrete substation with a service corridor inside. It is designed for a 12–36 kV RMU and two transformers up to 2000 kVA each, oil-filled or dry-type.

Description
The transformers are oil-filled or dry-type, up to 2 × 2000 kVA in total. On the LV side an HMS or CMS LV switchboard is installed. Degree of protection is IP23D, arc resistance is IAC-AB 20 kA 1 s according to IEC 62271-202. The internal corridor allows equipment to be serviced in any weather, with personnel working inside a closed concrete enclosure.
