SPS (Smart Power Station) combines a distribution substation, a lithium-ion energy storage system and a bidirectional inverter. It is used for price arbitrage, peak load smoothing, backup power and electric vehicle charging. The configuration is fully scalable to the customer's task.

Description
It includes the storage system, inverter, LV switchgear, power transformer and, to order, MV switchgear. The SPS-Control cabinet handles control, and the substation works as part of a Smart Grid. A fire detection and suppression system and HVAC provide safety. The structure has above-ground and underground parts, with the batteries underground. Fast charging stations for electric vehicles and renewable energy inverters can be connected as options.
