MRw and MRw-k substations in a metal enclosure are designed for a transformer up to 1000 or 2000 kVA, MV up to 24 kV and LV 0.4 kV. The light self-supporting metal structure is installed without a foundation.

Description
The family includes modular MRw-k, skid-mounted stations for emergency power supply and quarry versions MRw Pontoon and MRw 20/630-4 P. MV switchgear current is up to 630 A, LV switchgear 1600–3200 A. Short-time withstand current is up to 25 kA (3 s) on the MV side and 35–85 kA (1 s) on the LV side. Internal arc withstand is up to AB-20 kA-1 s, degree of protection IP 23D or IP 43. The absence of a foundation speeds up installation and simplifies relocating the substation, which matters in quarries.
