LCS-E is a compact transformer substation for transformers rated up to 630 kVA. It is the most compact substation in the range for distribution networks, with an SF6 MV ring main unit and an LV switchboard. Type-tested to IEC/EN 62271-202.

Description
The MV side is built on a monobloc with SF6 gas insulation (RMU). The LV switchboard is built on a 910 A busbar and connects 8 outgoing feeders of 400/630 A. The IEC/EN 62271-202 test programme covers internal arc, mechanical strength and temperature rise of no more than 15 K. The magnetic field level of the substation is below 100 µT.
